In today’s post, I’m going to tell you how to invest in yourself, so prepare your favorite drink and get comfortable. Now, let’s get started!

Throughout our lives, we have to make big and small decisions.

Investing is a word associated with personal finance, economics, and business.

Investing means you put something in, which can be money, time, or energy, and expect to receive back what you’ve given and more. That’s a good investment.

A bad investment is when you put something and lose a good portion of it.

And this can be applied to different areas of life.

So, when it comes to dedicating your time, energy, and money to something, ask yourself if by doing or choosing that thing, you’ll receive learning that will help you receive more time, energy, and money in the future, sooner or later.

On the other hand, if you invest your time, energy, and money in something that won’t give you more knowledge, happiness, or well-being, it’s a bad investment.

Think of your life as a garden. What happens to a garden if you don’t plant any seeds? It will wither away and produce nothing. On the other hand, if you plant seeds, water them, and give them plenty of sunshine, beautiful flowers will grow, allowing the garden to reach its true potential.

And the same goes for us women. We have to invest in ourselves if we want to become our best selves and live the life of our dreams.

You are your best investment, never forget that.

Now I’m going to give you a few examples of areas where you can invest in yourself:

Number 1: choose very carefully the people you surround yourself with. We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with.

So if you want to invest in, say, your health, surround yourself with healthy people.

And if you want to invest in your business, surround yourself with entrepreneurs who make more money than you. Never be the smartest fish in the room, because then you’ll stagnate.

And if you want to invest in love, surround yourself with people who are doing well in that area.

And so on with everything.

Number 2: follow social media accounts of people who inspire you. If you follow accounts that drain your energy, are negative, and don’t make you fell good, you’ll be investing poorly in yourself and will reap negative results in the long run, as they will negatively impact your habits, your well-being, and your goals.

On the other hand, if you only follow accounts that inspire you, you will be investing wisely and will reap extraordinary results in the future.

You can follow accounts that talk about self-knowledge, personal growth, and spirituality. Or those that talk about personal finance or entrepreneurship. Or those that talk about how to take advantage of your personal image.

Instead of using social media to distract yourself, use it for your growth, and you’ll see how much better you feel. Follow people who add to you, not subtract from you.

Number 3: read books. Read about topics that interest you. Cooking, psychology, philosophy, economics, science, and so on. You can learn a lot if you read regularly. You can start by reading one book a month, and over time, increase the number of books you read.

Number 4: listen to podcasts. If you prefer listening to reading, or if you want to combine the two, that’s perfect. Just like with books, choose podcasts on topics that interest you and listen to them regularly, and you’ll see how over time you’ll acquire a wealth of new knowledge that will help you greatly in life.

Number 5: go with a mentor. The difference between a mentor and a teacher is that a teacher only has knowledge about something, while a mentor not only has knowledge about that something but has also experienced it firsthand, so they will be able to offer you much more.

Number 6: invest in your soul and spirituality. Connect with your soul. Doing this will bring you great peace, so it’s a great investment. Focus and invest in your relationship with God, with the Universe, with Life, with your spirit guides, with your angels, your ancestors, and your Higher Self. And this will benefit not only your soul, but also your mind and your body.

Number 7: invest in your appearance. This will make you feel better about yourself.

Invest in clothes you like and that truly suit you, your personality, and your body type. Let your outward appearance reflect who you are on the inside.

Getting ready every day will positively affect the way you think, feel, and act. Learn to make the most of yourself.

You can also learn how to create new hairstyles and makeup by following wonderful channels led by women who teach you all of these things. My personal favorites are Sona Gasparian and Elena Rachitskaya, but there are many more.

Number 8: invest in your health. Both physically and mentally.

Cook at home, prepare meals at home, get the sleep you need, and exercise.

Read or listen to content about self-awareness and personal growth.

This is extremely important because without good health, you can’t do anything. You can’t pursue your dreams.

Use preventative healthcare; prevention is always better than cure. It’s better to invest your money in quality food than to have to pay a doctor later because your health has deteriorated.

When you’re healthy, you can invest your time and energy in achieving your dreams and spending quality time with your loved ones.

Number 9: use time consciously. Invest in things that save you time.

This doesn’t mean you always have to be learning new things and not have time to relax or pursue your hobbies. Not at all. A good way to invest your time could be, for example, watching your favorite series because it makes you feel so good.

Every so often, stop for a few seconds and ask yourself how you feel and what you need at that moment. This will help you use your time more intentionally and with more awareness.

Time is limited and doesn’t come back, so learning to use it consciously is very important.

Delegate your business and do only the tasks you’re truly good and passionate about. For example, if you’re an entrepreneur, you can hire someone else to handle your accounting and tax matters. Or you can hire a web designer to maintain your website. All of this will save you time.

Number 10: invest in your personal finances. Learn how to calculate your budget, save, invest, pay off debt, and earn more money. If you don’t know how to do these things, you’ll find plenty of information on the Internet and YouTube. You can also take a course on this topic.

Number 11: invest in your business. If you’re an entrepreneur, then investing in your business is one of the best things you can do. In your products, your website, your team.

All of this will make your customers’ experience even better, and therefore, they’ll stay with you and choose you to solve their problems or achieve their desires.

Number 12: spend time with yourself alone. It’s vitally important that you invest in spending time alone with yourself, as it will help you to get to know yourself better.

It’s very healthy to be comfortable alone in your own company because this will prevent you from entering into relationships or friendships out of sheer desperation because you’re afraid of loneliness. By being comfortable with yourself, you won’t lower your standards and won’t settle for people who give you less than you deserve or desire.

You can take advantage of the time you’re alone with yourself to pursue a hobby or to get to know yourself better.

And that’s it. I hope you liked this post and that it’s been helpful for you.
